Deck the Trees project

For the very first time, the annual Deck the Trees will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center, and the magnificent display of holiday trees will appear in the Center’s giant windowscape.
Houstonians that walk through Discovery Green and down Avenida De Las Americas will be met with the awe-inspiring Deck the Trees display. It will be impossible not to be taken in by the ornately decorated trees, and the display will elicit the nostalgic feeling of walking past large department store window displays during the holiday season. The Deck the Trees Sponsors will be proudly and prominently recognized in the windows next to each tree.
A special Tree Lighting Ceremony with the Mayor will take place on November 20, 2020 and the trees will be showcased in the windows until January 3, 2021.
Since its inception, the Alley has been Houston’s Theatre and dedicated to serving the people that make this City strong. This year has been particularly challenging for Houstonians. The Alley is giving back to the community by offering this year’s Deck the Trees as a gift to the City of Houston. By supporting this year’s Deck the Trees event, you will give the gift of joy to the hundreds of thousands of community members that visit downtown Houston and Discovery Green this holiday season.
