About the Event
APAHA is excited to share a special opportunity with you. Inprint, Houston’s premier literary arts nonprofit, is presenting Pulitzer Prize-winning Indigenous novelist Adam Johnson as part of the 2025/26 Inprint Brown Reading Series. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 15, at 7:30 pm at the Wortham Center’s Cullen Theater.

Adam Johnson will read from and discuss his new novel, The Wayfinder, a sweeping historical epic set in the pre-colonial Polynesian islands during the Tu’i Tonga Empire. The novel has meaningful AAPI connections, drawing from Polynesian oral history and inspired in part by Johnson’s own reflections on heritage and cultural storytelling.
Tickets are available $5 at InprintHouston.org. Inprint has also generously offered complimentary tickets for our APAHA community. If you are a member of Group Plan, you will receive 6 free admissions. If you are not sure whether you are a current member or not, please contact us. RSVP…
