AAPI Athletes Representing USA in the 2024 Olympics
Did you know there are more than 50 Asian American and Pacific Islander athletes competing for Team USA in the Olympics? The following athletes are those we know so far. Leave us a message if we missed anyone.
Breaking
"Breakdancing will be an Olympic sport for the first time ever in Paris. B-girl Sunny Choi will be one of four athletes—two women and two men—to represent Team USA in Breaking at the Olympics. Artistic Swimming
"Team USA will be represented in artistic swimming (formerly known as synchronized swimming) at the Olympics. And among the eight athletes (plus one alternate) on the squad is Megumi Field, who will be competing in the team and duet events in Paris." Leanne Wong and Suni Lee
"At her Olympic debut in Tokyo, then-18-year-old Suni Lee made history as the first Asian American to win the Olympic all-around title." and "Leanne Wong Named to U.S. Olympic Team as Replacement Athlete."
