Celebrating Community and Education: The APAHA Multipurpose Room Ribbon Cutting

We are thrilled to invite our community, partners, and friends to a landmark event in APAHA’s history. On April 8, 2026, we will officially cut the ribbon on the new APAHA Multipurpose Room at the Houston City College Stafford Campus Learning Hub.

This ceremony is more than just a naming event; it is a celebration of a partnership that began in the summer of 2022 and has grown into a powerful engine for student success.

A Legacy of Support

Through a $50,000 gift to the HCC Foundation, APAHA is proud to support the diverse needs of the student body. This contribution was carefully directed to ensure both immediate impact and long-term growth:

  • Scholarships in Perpetuity: An endowment and named scholarship to help students achieve their academic dreams for generations to come.

  • Student Wellness: Support for the Eagle Market Food Pantry at Stafford, ensuring students have the resources they need to focus on their studies.

  • Cultural Enrichment: Funding for the HCC Cultural Book Club, fostering a deeper understanding of our shared heritage.

Joining the Celebration

The ribbon-cutting marks the culmination of years of collaboration between APAHA leadership and the HCC Foundation. To celebrate this achievement, the ceremony will be held in conjunction with a vibrant Multicultural Fair on campus.

Moving Forward Together

Our mission has always been to impact the community through meaningful action. By establishing this permanent space at the Stafford Campus, we are ensuring that the spirit of the Asian Pacific American Heritage Association remains a constant source of support and inspiration for HCC students.

We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate this new chapter!
